Welcome To Breakaway Cycling Media

This is the home blog for videos, news information on the cycling racing helmet cam videos originating in the MABRA (Mid-Atlantic Bicycle Racing Association) region. The purpose of BCM (Breakaway Cycling Media) is to promote the sport of cycling by taking racers and fans inside the race - to experience the speed, excitement, tactics and thrill of racing a bike.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to tell me they enjoy the videos. It's been fun to do. We have more and expanded plans in the works.

Here are a few teasers:

• We plan to do a cyclocross cam this season. First I have to buy a cross bike and learn how to ride it!
• We are looking at new camera technology. Check links above for information soon. Suffice it to say that there are now cameras that can be mounted to a helmet / bike that shoot full 1920 x 1080 HD video. Unbelievable.
• We are going to be looking at expanding the project. That means more cameras on more racers in more categories. Watch for updates and info coming soon.
